Spring Adventures with London Littles

Western NY has finally been graced with some warm weather, and that means we can get back to the parks and hiking trails! The kids are anxious to get outside and let all their pent up energy out, but with the warmer weather also comes rain and mud. The rain boots from London Littles are exactly what we needed to get dirty and have some fun. 

Tinker Nature Park, located in Henrietta, NY, is a favorite place to explore for our family. It is an ever-changing swamp and has some of the most beautiful trails. But it's not just a swamp, it also features a wildflower meadow with a wildlife observation blind, snake hibernaculum, and meditation labyrinth. The swamp can make the trails extra muddy though, so the rain boots were the perfect solution. Durable, comfortable, and made from 100% natural rubber so they are eco-friendly and water resistant, Clara hasn't wanted to take them off since they were delivered! 

The kids ran around the trails for hours and never complained about keeping their boots on. This is a bit of a miracle for us as both the three-year-old and nineteen-month-old have aversions to socks and shoes. They never stay on longer than absolutely necessary. They even enjoyed climbing up and down on the playground in them. Once they were tired out and ready to go home, I simply wiped the mud off of their boots with a wet cloth before putting them in the car. It was so easy! Low maintenance footwear is exactly what this busy Mama needs for her little ones. I can see the kids wearing the boots on many more of our adventures as the weather gets better and we spend more time outdoors.
